Genesee Group/NY Inc. Announces New Name and Organization
February 26, 2008: West Henrietta, New York — The Genesee Group/NY Inc., a contract manufacturer of precision metal-formed components and assemblies to a variety of industries, announced the changing of its name to Genesee Global Group Inc. effective the first of the year.
“We are pleased to introduce a new name that better highlights the global capabilities of the Genesee brand,” said company President Gerard M. Caschette. “While our name has changed, our global supply-chain approach, high-technology capabilities, design expertise and commitment to our customers remains unchanged.”
The new name reflects the company’s new organizational status as a leader in contract manufacturing coupling both external supply chains with in-house manufacturing.
A new graphic logo and tagline—“Integration With Imagination”—were also developed as part of the company’s rebranding efforts that will be introduced to customers and target markets throughout the year.
